What is MUN?
Model United Nations (MUN) is a student-led simulation of the United Nations, where participants represent different countries and engage in discussion about global issues.It aims to mimic real-world international diplomacy by fostering debate, negotiation and problem-solving on topics such as peace, security, human rights, and development.
Do I need to be experienced in MUN in order to join?
No prior experience is required to participate. UMIMUN welcomes first-time delegates and provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience.
Where is UMIMUN located?
Uluslararası Milli İrade Kız Anadolu Imam Hatip Lisesi , İncek, Adnan Menderes Caddesi, Sokak 1008 No:3, 06830 Ankara.
Will I be provided with a certificate of participation?
Yes, all participants will recieve a certificate of participation. Additionally, we provide special certificates to Best delegates and Outstanding delegates
What is the procedure of UMIMUN?
UMIMUN follows Harvard Rules of Procedure
